The brother in law has been trying to convince I'll get to like it too and seeing as we both suffer from IBS I'm determined to develop a taste for it.... but it's slow going....
I thought I'd actually hate the stuff but I bought a box of the Twinings 'Pure Green' tea last week, makes for a nice cuppa in the evening or at work during the day. Taste isn't too bad at all, supposed to be good for the ould digestive system, or so they say.
@kenmcguire / @EirePreneur : Green tea is lovely. I have started drinking alot of it since I moved jobs (maybe 2-3 cups a day). I try to limit myself to a good strong coffee in the morning and then 2-3 cups during the day.
It is good for you, heart diease and digestion (http://www.esyurl.com/5s2) but of course as all things in moderation!
The Missus introduced me to Yogi Tea (http://www.esyurl.com/5s3) organic tea, very very nice, drink maybe one a day lovely.
You should be able to find it in most "Full of beans" type shops.
Also started drinking sparkling (fizzy) water, again since I moved jobs. Very nice, refreshing and stops me from drinking choke-a-chola.
James, stick with it. Its very good for you. And it may help.
Sparkling water is something I can't get my head around.... even after all these years! In Germany in January I was convinced the only water available was sparkling water, it's served everywhere!
Must look into the Yogi Tea. I've been keeping myself to just the single cup of green tea, for the moment anyway. Using it to cut down my intake of regular tea in the office... so far... erm....
@kenmcguire: I know. I agree with the sparkling water confusion....Now, I don't mean some stupid expensive stuff....I find that I prefer the cheaper the better as it seems to be more carbonated.
And funny, the place where I started drinking it first was in germany at a course. There was nothing other than fizzy water and some weird german juice. after the week I got used to it!
I dont drink tea at all so I dont have that cutting down problem.
